A Grand Piano for the Cultural Future of Trogen
A Project of the Swiss-Bulgarian Cultural Association
The Swiss-Bulgarian Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Appenzeller Mittelland Music School, is committed to acquiring a new grand piano for the Evangelical Church of Trogen.
This grand piano will significantly enrich the musical life of Trogen: it will enable high-quality cultural events, diverse musical church services, and provide young musicians with an inspiring platform for their development.
2025 Benefit Concert Series
To support this project, we will launch a Benefit Concert Series starting in June 2025:
•June 28, 2025, 11:00 AM
First Benefit Concert during the Trogen Annual Fair
“Summer Keys” – Piano students from the Appenzeller Mittelland Music School will perform melodies from musicals and films.
•November 30, 2025, 5:00 PM
Choir Concert for the First Sunday of Advent
Featuring the Kammerchor Wil and guest performers.
•December 5, 2025, 7:00 PM
Advent Concert
With the piano classes of the Appenzeller Mittelland Music School and additional guest performers.
Planned Acquisition
•Instrument: Grand piano (up to approx. 185 cm), Yamaha (new) or Steinway & Sons (certified pre-owned)
•Budget: maximum CHF 30,000
•Location: Evangelical Church of Trogen
